Karen/You can't shoot an unarmed girl... it's not sporting

You toss aside all your weapons. If Marie doesn't have any, you shouldn't either. It's the fair thing to do.

"Okay, Marie," you say. "I'm weaponless now. Let's finish this."

Marie darts forward to with a few feet of you, then stops and sets herself in a fighting stance. You set yourself likewise.

"Ready?" Marie asks. You nod. "Okay, Karen. Three... two... one... GO!"

"It's on!" you say, slipping sideways as Marie charges you. You try to leg-whip her as she passes, but she doesn't fall to the ground, merely stumbling and managing to keep her balance. You pivot around as she turns for another attempt. This time as she charges, you crouch down and as she whips her hand in a karate-chop, you duck to your left and punch her hard in the stomach. Marie staggers sideways and tries to get behind you and jump on you, but you pivot around and whip a strong side kick at her. Your foot connects with her ribcage, but her knee smashes into your midsection. You momentarily sink to the ground and as you try to rise, you feel Marie lock her powerful arms around you from behind.

"I'll make it easy on you, Karen," Marie whispers. "I wish we could be co-champions. I don't want to kill you, but I must."

With that comforting thought, Marie's arm clamps around your throat. Her other arm is locked around your upper body and you can't escape... or breathe. You fade to black as Marie purrs, "I'll see you again in heaven... and we'll be friends." You fall unconscious and never feel Marie snap your neck.
