You knock. A ghastly moan erupts. You pull out your arm, and barely hang on to the ledge. A hand shoves its way through the window, and you hold on with one hand while dodging. You then pull the arm out and the window shatters. The boards fall to the alley. The zombie tumbles out and cracks its skull on the ground.
