As you're walking, you absent-mindedly slide your hand into hers.
"Um... What are you doing?" Emily asks.
You instantly get embarrassed. You held her hand! If you try to go further, you might only creep her out, more; but, if you back off, now, you might lose the chance of any future with her.
Stammering, you try thinking of a way to squirm out of the situation.
