Head on through the construction zone

There's nothing to be worried about... or so you think. You walk on through the construction zone, underneath the scaffolding. There are plenty of people walking right alongside you, but something happens far above you. There is an accident and a crane carrying a large metal pole malfunctions. It falls like a dart straight toward you. Someone calls out, "Look out!" but there is not nearly enough time to react. The pole slices the air right in front of your nose, just an inch off from ending your life, and sticks in the sidewalk between your legs. Amazingly, it fell so close to you, that it actually pierced your clothing without contacting your skin. You stand shocked and breathless for a moment, realizing how close you came to an unfortunate end. Then, the pole falls forward, ripping your shirt and skirt clean off your body. Everyone had turned to look at you after the pole fell, and now they see you standing on the sidewalk in your bra and panties.
