You decide to just get away from the situation and head back to your dorm with Yulia. You head into the communal bathroom and take a look at yourself in the mirror. You can't help but notice the bruise forming below your eye. Yulia wets a cloth and presses it to your face, making you wince at first, but soothing the tender flesh. The two of you walk back and sit in the rec room watching TV when a group of girls walk in.
"What happened to you, Kaya?"
You look at her with an insincere smile. "I took a punch in the face." As you say it, one of the other girls drops her jaw.
"OMG, I got a text about two lesbos causing a barfight. I bet it was them."
"Well, I guess we have to be careful in the showers." The girls laugh and walk away except for one who apologizes for them acting like jerks.
Yulia puts her arm around you and chuckles in frustration. "I didn't think I was gay yesterday, but I guess I'm out of the closet already."
