Get Melanie and get inside the station

Rushing back to the car, you fling open the back door. You aren't sure why you need to get inside, but maybe driving to the hospital through all this madness is a bad idea. You lift Melanie and carry her in.
Once you're inside, the woman rushes past you. "Bring her over here," she says, leading you to a store room. Inside, there's a small cot. "Put her there." You set Melanie down gently and step back. The woman kneels next to her, opens the bed sheet, and begins examining the wounds.
You finally get a moment to catch your breath. The room is lit, to your amazement, by a small lamp in the corner. You guess that she has a generator tucked away some where or that the lamp is battery powered. You decide there are more pressing matters, but then notice that the woman is wearing scrubs. "You're a nurse?" You ask, hopefully.
"Yes," she says, turning to look at you over her shoulder. She's pretty. Blonde, mid thirties, light skin with a smattering of freckles. Her green eyes are wide and stunning, and though she has a small mouth, her lips are shaped perfectly. You find yourself lost for a moment looking her over, until she continues. "I was at the hospital when all this started, and I ran. I got this far, and my car hit a deep puddle of water at the underpass across the road. It stalled out, and I came here." She turns back to Melanie, but points to a small shelf nearby. "Get me the black bag and the medical kit next to it."
You do as she says.
