Freeze, but keep your gun in your hand

From Create Your Own Story

You freeze. The gun is still in your hand, but pointed at the floor.

Annabelle, with lightning speed, whips up her pistol and opens fire, striking two of the cops before bullets from the third slam into her, killing her. The fourth cop tackles you hard, sending your gun flying, twists your arms behind your back, and handcuffs you.

One of the policemen that Annabelle hit unbuttons his shirt, revealing his bulletproof vest. "That's going to leave a bruise." The other isn't so lucky. He was hit in the head by her bullet and now lies dead on the floor, a massive pool of blood leaking from his shattered skull.

"How did you..." you groan.

"Just luck," says the cop who cuffed you, standing you up. "We were actually questioning Stephen here about some thug he hired. By the way, cuff him. Then we noticed you two coming. So we set up an ambush and hid, telling Stephen if he cooperated, we'd let him go. Of course we lied." Stephen growls in fury as he is cuffed.

Even though it was Annabelle who killed the cop, because you were with her in a crime, your public defender informs you that you could be charged with the cop's murder. To avoid a first-degree murder conviction and a possible death sentence, you plead guilty to second-degree murder in the policeman's death and attempted murder in the attack on Stephen and receive a 25-year sentence.

You are taken to a lonely maximum-security prison in the middle of the desert. For the first few weeks, you are placed in administrative segregation, as is standard with new inmates. One day, however, a guard informs you that tomorrow you will be placed in the general prison population. You tremble in fear, knowing that a scrawny guy like you will be brutally buttraped by the more muscular inmates.
