As silently as possible, you blend in the darkness and walk away from the soldiers, all the while following the road from a safe distance. According to your compass, this road leads in the general direction of the drop zone.

If the cargo was still in the plane, then obviously the soldiers will find it, in which case your only option is to forget about it and Take the road to the drop zone to meet with the Resistance. But if you dropped your cargo before landing, you can still try to find it.
