Fire at the officer sitting in the back of the jeep

You take aim for the Soviet in the officer's uniform sitting in the back of the jeep. You put your cross-hairs on his upper chest and slowly pull on the trigger.
The bullet rips through the officer's cloth uniform, and into his body. It passes through a lung and into the seat behind him. He cries out to his men and collapses into the road. The other men follow suit, and take cover. Your comrades open fire, keeping the Soviets hiding behind the tank and jeep. A hand grenade flies over a sand-dune and lands by the jeep. It explodes and peppers the men by it with shrapnel. The officer is still moaning and crawling in the dirt, in a feeble attempt to escape.
Behind the tank, the next man down the chain of command begins to bark orders at the other men, just barely audible over the roar of the gunfire. A relentless barrage of fire is keeping the Soviets pinned down, killing the few foolish enough to leave cover.
