You rationalize the best course of action: Realizing the danger of the situation and that your presence may only hinder things here you take off towards a nearby convenience store leaving the bag behind.
If only your *iGlass7 sunglasses worked you wouldn't have to find a damn land-line to call for help. You glance up at sky which seemed so peaceful not too long ago and wince as your eyes catch the sun exposing itself from a fluffy little white cloud. You've often wondered how much shade they really offer but your normally too per-occupied to to further that thought; apparently not much.
You think you hear a distant gunshot from where you came from, but you've already turned the corner from sight. Familiar trivial thoughts flood back into your mind as your glasses blink the acknowledgement of an open WiFi source. Someone named "Naughty Nadia" has left his/her router open to the public. You shake off the thought and call the police.
Nothing else interesting happens to you ever again... That is up until the "Siri Uprising of 2054" when robots revolt and enslave nearly all of mankind. Almost all, leaving you and a few others behind to buy their products and continue your normal, boring, everyday peaceful existence.

Big Brother vs. an inconsiderate group of hackers who (as of late) have resorted to guerrilla tactics. They have been strategically staging isolated attacks on metropolitan corporate infrastructure which has resulted in the annoying loss of cell-towers in your area as well as other freak inconveniences.
