Don't trust the woman, get back in the car, and get to the hospital.

From Create Your Own Story

"I'm sorry, but I can't risk that," you say. You turn back for the car, and the woman just lets you go.

You head back out onto the road, and wonder if it would be faster to take the highway or the back roads. Both will be littered with cars, if what you've seen is any indication of how things are. The highway will be faster if you can get through, but there might be a gridlock of abandoned cars, or worse. The back roads will be slower, but probably a little less congested. You still have no idea how bad Melanie's wounds are, so accessing the risk is difficult.
