D&D: You excuse yourself and tell him your master don't like it when you are late

"I'm sorry" you managed to befuddle. "My master is expecting it."
"A real shame" the teacher ask."Well if your master is expecting you, don't keep him waiting."
You nod and walks out the door and close it. You feel like you just escaped some terrible fate. You push the thoughts from your mind.
As you return to the courtyard, you see the gatekeeper is saluting the guard and the guard is walking away.
