D&D: Hike through the east and hunt for the creatures

You take the path to the east and approach the mountainous regions near Waterdeep. This place has always been home to hostile creatures looking to loot or cause trouble. The militia of Waterdeep has often find themself raiding these when the troubles would get too noticed. From what the other druids has claimed, there is orcs and kobolds in the mountain lately and the militia has done nothing to push them back. You find it curious and as the ground change you kneel down near tracks. Several tracks through the mud. Too mixed to be only one kind of person and by the looks of it, they were made at the same time. As you follows them carefully, you find the track splits up into two groups. One are little reptilian paw print that would match the kobolds. The other are a little big to be human size, most likely orcs. A band of orcs and kobold that travels together ? that does not bode well.
