You head for the bridge but before you get there you smell the acrid stink of smoke and see black clouds billowing over the deck. The captain is running around, sweating and yelling orders.
"What is going on, we need to get back on schedule," you yell over the noise, coughing on the black gasoline smelling smoke.
"We can't, there is something wrong with the boiler and we'll be stranded here until at least noon tomorrow..."
You grit your teeth in frustration; a whole day waylaid? You aren't so much angered by the delay as much as the snobbish actress gets what she wants and you have to suffer the consequences of that. As if to add insult to injury you here a beautiful tinkling laugh behind you, making you spin to face the beautiful Louise, making her first appearance outside of her cabin since the journey began, dressed in a silk Japanese robe. Her red hair burns like fire in the sunlight, her still moist skin gleaming like polished marble as she enjoys your frustration.
"It looks like I will get to finish my bath after all little bird..." she says as the captain looks on in awe. "Come visit me again sometime won't you; I do enjoy your amusing company yes?"
You resist the urge to toss her over the bow, instead trying to figure out what you'll do with your newfound free time.
