You accept the help from the Dallas. Ramius communicates with the Dallas and gives it position in the Atlantic where they will meet. The Red October and Dallas both dive and part ways. You cruise along the bottom of the ocean for several hours. You are watching the sub driver and learning how the controls work when an alarm goes off. A light with a radiation sign is flashing.
"The reactor is leaking!" says Bordorin.
The Red October surfaces. All of the crew gets into life rafts and get away from the sub. All the officers, Ramius, and you do not get into life rafts, but instead close all the hatches , and dive the Red October.
"Why did we do that?" you ask Ramius.
