He turns around, and then turns back to you, frowning.
"Very funny, Althea. You almost make it sound like I should like you again," he said.
He shakes his head and turns away from you, the gesture seems to have made the boy broken.
"Send everyone to the Desolation," he says coldly to one of the guards.
The name sends chills down your back. The Desolation. It sounds like a synonym for death. You wiggle around in your seat nervously as the soldier asks, "Are you sure?"
The boy looks back at you, and replies, "Do it before I change my mind."
You look up wildly, surprised that your rough behavior is sending you to death. Before you can do anything else, scream, shout, cry, you are knocked unconscious.
