Dialing the number to your cult is a lot harder than it should be, your dozy eyes often causing you to make mistakes. But as the last number is dialed and you call your cult it only takes one ring for them to respond, even in the middle of the night they are vigilant.
“Sharon, report.” The voice on the other line says like a soldier.
“I have another potential sacrificial victim…” You pause to gasp. “She is not fully broken yet so I need to have her stored in headquarters.”
“Uhh Sharon didn’t you just bring in a sacrificial victim?”
You only mutter something none sensible in response, seeing as both of you know the answer to that one and you are too tired to confirm.
“Okay then, who is it and where can we pick her up?”
“Grace Nicole Foster…”
“Holy shit Sharon! The televangelist’s daughter!? You fucking got her?” The man’s soldier like tone was blown away and replaced with a tone of pure juvenile awe.
“Yea… yea I got her.” You reply back while keeping the same dozy tone. Quite frankly you’re too tired to appreciate this fact. “Pick up us at the bus station.”
“Which one?”
“The one close to our headquarters.”
“Oh that’s far!” He voice again doing a complete turnabout and ending up in a snarky sarcastic tone. “At that distance we should send a fucking plane to ge…”
You turn off your cell phone to end the conversation, not appreciating his sarcasm. Staying awake for the five minutes it takes for the van to pull besides you turns out to be one of the hardest things you’ve ever done. The male cultists stuff Grace Nicole Foster in the back with great enthusiasm. You huddle up in the front seat, falling asleep in less than a second.

Someone awakes you from your well deserved sleep. Through the car window you can see the street where you live. You immediately fall back asleep.

The next day you wake up in your own bed around noon. Your fellow cultist must have driven you home and carried you to your bed. He even left your clothes untouched. After a long hot shower you must decide what to do today.
