"Never, undead abomination!" you scream, slashing at him with your sword.

The vampire dances out of the way with unnatural speed, then draw his cutlass to parry your next swipe. He casually stabs you between the ribs in a movement too fast for your eye to follow and, before you can retaliate, kicks your sword out of your hand with an almost negligent flick of his boot. You turn around to dive for your weapon, but your foe pulls out his pistol and shoots you in the back, shattering your spine.

"Too easy," murmurs the vampire, shaking his head regretfully.

You collapse and darkness engulfs you.
