You return to your one-room house and lay your tool and cabbages next to your bed before tearing a piece from your one shirt and going to sleep.
When you awaken the next day, you immediately detect the scent of smoke permeating the air. A quick inspection of the landscape reveals that Jadwigski Citadel, which had loomed ominously over the countryside atop its mountainous perch just last night, has been reduced to smoldering rubble. You've missed your chance to burn down the castle.
