A missile nearly touches your gunship as you can feel the heat of it’s propulsion even with your armor on. The LAAT in front of you isn’t as lucky, exploding in a giant fireball. Your pilot does another great manœuvre to prevent the death of everyone inside your gunship, getting some cheers from a couple of troopers. You remember back on Kamino that you and the boys used to laugh at the pilots for studying mechanics and flying some simulators while you were in grand battle recreations.
You clearly aren’t laughing anymore as you hold tightly to the handle connected to the ceiling.
A couple of acrobatics later, you finally touch the ground. Everyone gets out of the LAAT as the pilot immediately goes up again, leaving you directly behind your own lines. Jedis are waiting for you as the only one you know by name, Mace Windu, asks for the highest ranking officer.
