You decide to make a splash with your new employer; he obviously wants Mothma dead for political reasons so he'll most likely appreciate some theatrics with your retiring of said politician, hopefully with some extra compensation. And of course the most spectacular way to kill a politician is their grand sanctuary of law; the Senate floor!

There are two basic approaches you could take; put a laser beam through her head with a nice accurate sniper shot from somewhere shadowy, or with an explosive device stowed in her Senate box. With the explosive you avoid having to actually be in the building which is much less dangerous, however the chance of accidental casualties is almost certain. The choice is yours...
