Flitting from tree to tree, you pass the wood carver. The trees continue to thin. You feel the sun on your skin. It is not entirely pleasant. Your feet are a bloody mess. After awhile, you reach the edge of the forest. It stretches a ways to your left and possibly further to your right. Ahead is a barren, dusty desert. You see the faintest hint of something on the horizon.
