"I'm honored. Maybe we could just have coffee sometime. To talk about art, if you want." Anthony flashes another smile, showing off his pearly white teeth again. If Darren hadn't mentioned Anthony's dark side, I might have thought him an angel.
Before he can charm me any further, his date returns, staring me down with obvious annoyance. "Anthony, I've just discovered something shocking. They're selling a Warhol forgery as an original!"
"Are they?"
"You have to see it. Follow me, babe." As his date leads him away, Anthony discreetly slips his business card into my hand. Success! I keep an eye on Anthony until the auction begins, and once I'm sure I won't be missed, I text Ronan to pick me up, and we leave.
