Normally, gathering more information is a good thing in a tactical situation. However, in a zombie apocalypse, all the rules have changed.
The woman suddenly bites the man in the face, ripping out part of his cheek. You kill her with a crossbow bolt to the head, but it is too late. The man is infected and will soon turn into a zombie as well.
Bleeding and groaning, the man looks at you. "Don't wait! Just kill me!" Shaking your head and cursing to yourself, you load another bolt into your crossbow and fire.
Looking at all the dead bodies in the room, including the two humans you were unable to save, you grab a vase and hurl it against the wall in frustration, watching as it shatters into hundreds of pieces.
The screams bring you back to the present. There's still that other door here on the second floor. In addition, you can hear Annabelle screaming from downstairs.
