WAS: Try to reason with your father

“Father hold your sword! I can explain”

He moves forward and points his sword at you. There is no compromise to be had with the king, you have seen something that you shouldn’t have seen and you must die for it. Yet you continue to plead.

“Father that voice it called for its servant, you’re a king not a slave, don’t let it rule you!”

He picks up his pace but his stern face begins to crack and you can see that your words have an effect on him.

“You’re the King of the seven mountains, is it the destiny of our people to be rule by a shadow, a statue? Were we meant to be mere slaves!?”

He runs you through with his sword, killing you were you stand. Your words were not enough no matter how true they might be. Oddly enough your last thoughts are about the woman depicted on that statue. Who she was you will never know.
