Deciding to go with a less brute force approach after all, you unsummon your beast so the guard stops freaking out. When he finally settles down and doesn't look like he'll shoot the first thing he comes across you step out from behind the boulder you were hiding behind with one hand on your staff, the other in the air in surrender. The guard instantly points his crossbow towards you and for a moment you think he is actually going to shoot you. However, a few moments pass and you finally open one eye and see he isn't going to shoot you, just watching. Glad he is somewhat of a normal person you step forward a bit. "I surrender. Don't shoot me. I can't get through your gate and I don't want to get shot."

The guard looks at you for a moment, considering what you are saying. "Put the staff down." You hesitate for a moment. You really don't want to do that, but if it gets him to open the gate peacefully you are fine with that. Nodding you slowly put it on the ground in front of you. "Now step up to the gate, then turn around putting your back against it."

You are not so sure about that part, but you do as he says. You feel something against your back then, likely some kind of stick. Then you hear his voice through the gate, on the lower part now. "If you move away I'll hear this drop and know you've moved. Don't move or I'll shoot you." Dealing with the guard you just don't move, resting against the wall. Is he seriously going to open the gate?

After a minute or two finally you hear his voice again after hearing him walk away then back, this time with some new footsteps behind him. "Step away from the gate." You do so, stepping away then turn towards the gate. Moments later you hear a bar coming off, then the door swings open. The guard is holding his crossbow aimed at your head, and standing next to him is a strangely beautiful woman with long raven hair and a very revealing outfit that almost makes you blush. When the two come out for some reason she instantly turns to you, giving you a small smile.

Special Character Revealed: Katelin's Apprentice - Zuna

With revealing black garb and a small, slender frame, the woman would look friendly if she wasn't dressed the way she was. Her eyes give away a bit of mischief and she seems like she doesn't have a care in the world. She is also strangely enough not wearing the standard cultist marks. The woman is also obviously some sort of apprentice, docile enough to be subservient to someone while disciplined enough to know some kind of craft. She carries a whip and likes to play with it idly as if she is just learning it's secrets. Around her you get a false sense of security.

Instantly you realize this woman is a magical user, possibly a mage like yourself. She has magical energies coming from her and you can instantly tell she knows you do as well. She smiles as she looks over you. "You were right to bring her to me Hatchet, she is dangerous." And with that, she raises one hand and instantly a green magical ring appears around your neck, choking you. Instantaneous your hands come up to it without thinking, gasping as you can't breath. You are going to have to react fast as she starts to walk up to you with the guard. "You are coming with me, mage."
