You speed up so that you're behind him before he starts to turn. You size him up as you silently bounce by on your toes.
He's obviously middle-aged, but well seasoned. A handsome profile, tinged with weariness or sorrow. He appears lost in the ritual of preparing to enter the sanctuary.
The front doors are swinging shut, but you manage to dart out just before they shut.
You're outside the front of the church again. Only this time, you're a naked nun in her twenties. The sun and warm air feel good on your bare skin. It's mid day and there's no one in sight.
The parking lot is empty save for a lone motorcycle-which probably brought the middle-aged man here.
Behind you, you can hear the somewhat muffled sounds of a fire alarm going off.
