The kitchen is a mess; you've been too busy all week to wash any dishes, and they've accumulated in a dirty pile on the counter by the sink. Eggs sound good, but that would require washing out the frying pan that you used Tuesday night. A quick inventory of the cupboards and drawers reveals clean bowls and spoons: some cereal would be a lot easier.
