You're awakened not much later by the sounds of footsteps in the hall. They're loud, and it sounds like a group of people. You find yourself in a hazy panic, still half asleep. You can only imagine what's come into the house, and what it will do when it finds the any of you.

"Anyone alive in here?" You hear a voice shout. "United States army," the voice calls out again. "If anyone is alive in here, announce your presence now!"

You jump to your feet. "We're in here! Two of us! We're alive!" Melanie sits up on the bed, confused, rubbing at her eyes. You unlock the door and swing it open, and are greeted by several armed men with flashlights attached to their weaponry, and the light is nearly blinding. "There are other's in the house as well!" You proclaim, so happy to see anyone else.

Within an hour, you're whisked away to a military camp, where you're quarantined while medical officials search your entire bodies for signs of sores. When they're sure you're not infected, they release you into the camp with a fresh change of clothes, and pointing the way to a large tent where food and water await. On your way there, Melanie charges at you from the other side of the camp, happy to see you. She throws her arms around your neck and kisses you deeply. Not long after, Mrs. Park and her children find you, all safe as well. The lot of you march off into the camp, happy for the first time in a long time.

Congratulations. You not only saved multiple lives, you did it all with no ulterior motive, and STILL ended up with the girl you were intended for. You are the man. Or the Woman. Either way, great job! A+.
