Quest 1: The Mazrim Cult

You frown slightly at the hostage situation, it obviously isn't a good one. If you attack this woman she could likely kill the women in the next room. However, she could kill the women in the next room even if you surrendered to her. You won't be taken so easily. Hostages or no, you are not going to let anything get in your way. Bringing up your sword you charge the women who seems instantly startled.

Alignment Shift: Evil

Introducing the alignment system. Every once in a while there are options that are either good or evil. Choosing good options will sway you to the good side and give you more and more good options to choose from. Choosing the evil side on the other hand will give you more and more evil options to choose from. The more you go down one path the more of that type of option will appear. Once you max out one of these two paths you will gain a special ability based on your class and what path you chose. Also, if you elect to stay neutral and keep your evil and good decisions balanced you will eventually gain a neutral ability like the other two.

Note: If you don't like that you have gained an alignment point in evil don't sweat it. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to get back on track and switch alignment back to good. Just keep on going.

The woman is very obviously surprised that you attack her, but quickly raises her hand which instantly glows an eerie green color. The next second you hear to horrible screams from the next room, screams of intense agony and pain. You ignore it though, swing out with her sword. She is quick, dodging back barely avoiding it as it slashes her clothes at the front revealing her undergarments. But in close quarters you are dangerous, too close for the woman to pull out her whip. The next second your hilt comes back up slamming her in the side of the head sending her crashing against a cabinet then to the ground.

You pounce on her, but the woman hardly moves barely remaining conscious after the blow. You quickly disarm her, then take some rope you find nearby and quickly bind her hands tightly before gagging her with some of the cloth you had swiped off her outfit. You then stand up and nudge the door on the left wall open and spot the two girls now unconscious. Walking over and checking their pulses you see they are still alive, but seemingly weak. This is your first time to get a look around this room well and you are a little sickened. It is obviously some kind of storage room, filled with crates and barrels as well as every kind of bondage and torture device you could imagine. You don't even want to know what some of the things you see can do.

Standing in the doorway between the two rooms, you quickly go back into the first room and scrounge around slightly before realizing the heirloom isn't in a place like this. You now find yourself with two unconscious slave girls and a barely conscious woman who was about to do god knows what to you. A cultist. The possibilities spin through your head as you sheath your sword.
