Take Amber with you to your parent's house

You have not talked to your parents for a few weeks nor has Amber. You decide to drive to there house and make a surprise visit.
You and Amber drive another half hour until you reach her grandparents' ranch. The two of you get out of the car together and head for the front door. You knock three times on the door.
Nobody answers the door. You decide to call your mom on her cell phone. She answers the phone. You have a brief conversation with your mother.
To sum it up: You and your daughter are welcome to stay the house if you wish. Your mother and father are both out of town on vacation for the next three days. A young ranch hand named Billy Bob comes by every morning to feed the horse.
