Stare into the gypsy's crystal ball

You look deep, deep into the crystal ball and find yourself falling. You tumble through empty space and then you're standing inside a crystalline dome with a crystalline floor. The gypsy is sitting on the floor and grabbing at a glimmering silver-colored floating thread. The thread jerks in the air, avoiding her grasp as if it was alive and wanted to evade the gypsy girl.
Then she notices you standing there, watching her.
"I was hoping you wouldn't look into the crystal," she says.
"Where are we?" you ask.
"An enemy of mine booby trapped my crystal ball," the gypsy says. "By looking in it, I was drawn out of my body and into this astral space. I am trying to grab the silver thread that leads back to my physical body. Once I am free, I will get you out."
She makes another grab at the thread, but it again eludes her.
"So we're trapped here?" you say.
"Only until I get my hand on that thread," she says.
