Stab him in the chest

Acting quick, you stab your father in the chest, killing him. You get his corpse off you and run before the people get over their shock. But as you run, a Templar grabs you by the collar and growls, "Why did you kill that man who claimed to be your father?"
Not knowing what else to do, you reply, "I killed him to return all those years when I lived under his roof of pain, suffering, and in these 6 years, starvation. I wanted him to know that it all added up to a death, if dealt at once."
"Do you believe it was right?" asks the Templar.
Laughing, you reply, "That man is abusive. We have him off the streets now, so what harm can it do? After all, he would just going to kill someone eventually."
"How do you know?"
"I lived with him. He had enough rage in him to kill the whole kingdom if he desired, granted no person stopped him first."
The Templar stares at you for a long time. You g-feel as through he is seeing inside your soul, that he is searching your eyes for any dishonesty.
Eventually, he says, "Come with me." And he walks off. You don't want to face the wrath of the Templars, but now you have a chance to escape! And if reading your mind, the Templar adds, "That is, if you want a better life." Do you:
