You tell Melanie to stay in her room. She is just going to slow you down. You tie her up so she does not get any ideas. After a quick shower, you change into a pair of cargo pants and a black t-shirt. You slip on some hiking boots and grab your backpack. In the kitchen, you throw a few canned goods inside and a few bottles of water, zipping it up and slinging it over your shoulder. You're going to have to go on the run. Before you leave you untie her and warn her not to follow you.
When you pull the car out of the garage, you realize that you're wrong. Glancing around, you see abandoned cars litter the streets, and corpses lie out in the rain on the lawn of everyone of your neighbors. Something horrible has happened, and you fucking love it.
