You run water over your hand, but it is of no use! The flames continue to burn despite the fact that they are completely submerged in cold water. Terrified, your mind draws a blank. How else can you put out a fire?

You glance frantically around the room. On a nearby table, you see a towel. Next to it is an elegant fan, similar to the kind Japanese women carry while wearing kimonos. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a strange dark form writhing about.
