As soon as you hear the starting gong, you make a wild dash for the forest, like Mickey told you to. After about a minute of running, you stop to rest. Your breathing was heavy, your heart was racing, your feet were aching... and you just wanted to go to bed. You had to find Mickey, though, wherever he is.
In those ten minutes, you had heard the booms of ten cannons. Huh. Those Careers must be deadly this year, killing ten tributes in ten minutes. Maybe you and Mickey could try going back, to see if you two could steal some supplies, because you didn't even have a bit of food.
