You rest some more.
The only thing you hear is the continuous movement of the large spider's mandibles working away directly behind you. What a diligent worker, whatever he's doing, you sigh happily. The sound is strangely soothing, and you lie down on the ground.
Even as you hear louder crunching, you tell yourself a quick nap before running can't hurt.
