Put Alex in front of you as a shield

You run towards Alex, and hold him like a shield. Alex screams as it charges towards him, knocking both of you to the ground. At once, you feel it's slimy tongue licking your face. When you open your eyes you realize it's a brown dog. Your parents are walking up to you and Alex, as you slowly get up.
Alex laughs, "He's a good dog. Just a little large, that's all. I've always wanted a dog."
Your parents exchange glances. Finally, your dad speaks up. "Alex, never go running away from us like that again. You never know what monsters will attack you as soon as you get out of sight." He grins evilly.
"George," your mom says, rolling her eyes. "I wonder who would abandon their dog here?" she says as the dog sniffs her leg.
You stand up and brush off your pants. "We should probably check to see if anyone has a missing dog."
Alex started to play fetch with the dog, who he called Barky.
"Where did you find that dog?"
You quickly turn spin around, and see a man dressed in a monster costume. "W..Who are you?
Alex and your parents turn around, and Barky runs up to the man.
"I am Claudius." he says. "But you can call me Claud. This is my dog." he points to Barky, who is now sitting.
"You should get a leash," your Mom says. "Dogs tend to run away when the owners aren't looking."
Claud stares at you, and you feel a chill down your spine. "Did you want to go into the park?"
Your parents nod, and start to follow Claud. The dog seems to be very obedient, and follows Claud wherever he goes. When you reach the booth with the monster, Claud looks at everyone and says, "This is Goodbye. You will not be seen again. Ever. Thank you for finding my dog Barky."
