Piggy's Day/Shoot your double shotgun

You fire your double shotgun. The animal is pierced by dozens of sharp metal pellets. It shrieks in pain, falls into the water, and dies.

Piggy: "Success!"

Now you can focus back to your fishing competition. You check your watch, and realize that you only have fifteen minutes left.

Piggy: "And I've caught no fish at all! Son of a gun..."

You then look back at the corpse of the poisonlandminemantaraybat.

Piggy: "Wait, that counts as a fish!"

In the remaining fifteen minutes, you manage to catch two other fish. After that you meet up with the fisherman again. The fisherman has caught 12 fish, but he seems impressed that you've managed to catch a poisonlandminemantaraybat.

Fisherman: "Nearly lost me legs after I'd only taken a regular shotgun wit' me! I'd say that that thing is worth at least 10 normal fish."

Piggy: "So does that mean I won?"

Fisherman: "I guess. Ya can have the win. It's not like we 'ad a wager or anything."

Piggy: "Yeah that... Oh man, I didn't even realize. I nearly died because of that thing, and didn't even gain money from it!"

Fisherman: "Welcome to the world of procreational fishin', boy."

You decide to take up fishing as a hobby. It's quite fun, despite the occasional poisonlandminemantaraybat encounter.
