"Hey, guys, forget planning a course, it'll be more fun to just wing it," you exclaim, feeling adventurous. The paths are marked, what kind of trouble can you really get into?
Ashley and Jessie just kind of look at each other, and, feeding off your excitement, eagerly follow you as you charge onto the trails.
Your group starts walking for a few minutes and come to a fork in the road, with three paths. Given that you didn't take the time to get a map, you do not know where they go, all you know is what you can see.
Route 1: A seemingly tame route on a cliff next to the river.
Route 2: Some steps going up deeper into the woods.
Route 3: A dirty, barely tame path that seems to go slightly deeper into the woods.
