We walk out to the beach in front of our hotel room. We see mom laying out on reclining patio chair.

Me: "Hey mom!"
Mom: "What are you guys up to? I think dad is about done with the boat"
Me: "I was wondering if I could give you and AJ an order before we do anything with dad..."
Mom: "Don't ask, just tell me what you want me to do. Its a turn off when your so passive, Chris"
Me: "Fine! I want you me and AJ to go out on the lake with the Jetski"
Mom: "Mmmm, okay. Dad wasn't going to rent the jetski till tomorrow, but that does sound like fun. Do you guys want me to get it right now, or wait till tomorrow and do something else here at the beach?
