"Dear journal, I made it to the outskirts of the city without incident. The air here is much cleaner than in the city. I haven't found any one else, and off into the distance, the next couple of cities are ablaze, too. I think I can see a camp of in the distance. Maybe they're other survivors, like me, but not nearly as awesome. Then again, maybe they're raiders, like from that game I played. I can't remember the damned name, but it was the apocalypse and there was a lot of nuclear fallout around. I think it might have been called 'The Day The World Caught Fire A Whole Lot', but I'm not sure. Where was I? Oh, right, real life."
