“Mom, don't worry about Dad. I mean, I didn't know you guys were having trouble but Dad's stupid for not noticing you. You're beautiful, smart, funny... you're everything that a man could ask for. I mean, jeez, Mom, you're perfect.” You say as feelings well up inside of you. As you finish you look into your mother's eyes.
She looks at you in wide eyed amazement for a second before the corners of her mouth cracks into a smile. “Aww, Kevin, I never knew...” She smiles. You must have looked pretty silly...
“Well, thank you for that. We should get dressed now and get ready for the day.” She says, whistling to herself as she grabs her things. You finish dressing as she reaches the door. She looks back at you and gives you a smile before cautiously exiting your room.
You wonder where this is all going, but realize the time. It's 12 noon... you should find something else to do.
