You freeze in terror as you hear a key in the front door and then your mom's voice.
"Sam it's only me I forgot my lunch, can you believe I got all the way to work before realizing it, if you rush I can drop you off at school."
She's shouting up the stairs thinking you’re still in bed, you curse your luck, and anyone else would have just bought themselves a lunch from the canteen. But your mom as always was OCD about wasting food. You hear her footsteps coming towards the kitchen you only have time to hide in the pantry or slip out of the backdoor.
