you are with mommy, learning how to bake. you're pouring the mix into the cupcake trays when mommy leaves to answer the phone.
"pour a little in each tray and put it in the oven, be careful not to touch the over and I'll be right back"
when you finish pouring the mix and open the oven you put the tray in and close the door. after that you go to the window and watch the birds coming to the feeder. you lose track of time watching the birds but you feel a heat behind you, then the fire alarm goes off...you're in the corner of the kitchen and the fire is all around you, there is nowhere you can go.
"Alice! Kaylie! Malarie! Sylia!" your mom shouts as she runs up stairs. you want to yell back but you're too afraid...
there are noises upstairs and the fire is getting much bigger very fast. the whole roof above you is engulfed and the smoke is so thick you can't see anything. luckily the window you're standing by is open so you have some breathable air but you're still paralyzed and you can't hear or see anyone any more...
soon you can hear someone again, it's your father, he's shouting your name.
"I'm here daddy!" daddy walks around the corner, he runs through the fire and lifts you. just when you think you're going to be ok a loud noise echoes around you, the roof collapses and lands on you and daddy, you're thrown from his arms and a wood beam lands on your back. on end of the beam is on fire and you can feel it burning your left side, especially your forearm and just above your waist. you scream in pain but nobody answers.
"Daddy!! where are you!! Daddy!!" you can't find him, there's nothing where he was but a large pile of burning rubble.
"Mommy!!! Daddy!!! somebody help me!!" your eyes start to get dull and everything seems to move at a lightning pace, a firefighter lifts the beam off you and carries you out, you're put in an ambulance and driven off, you open your eyes in a hospital and your sisters are all there crying and hugging you as they tell you what happened, how you died but the doctors brought you back, how Mommy was on the second floor when the house came down and killed both her and Daddy...
then you flash forward to the meeting after the funeral to decide what had to be done about you and your two older twin sisters, they want to put you in an orphanage and send Kaylie and Malarie to a very distant and last relative living in Germany, but then Sylia tells them they can't that she'll take care of all of you no matter what...
