Go into the kitchen with Jane

You walk into the kitchen after her, and lean on the counter. You watch her as she moves shakily around grabbing ingredients for dinner, and placing them in a pan or chopping them on the chopping board. You move away when she needs things behind you and you wonder why you feel like something is off, yet attractive to you, you who had hated almost everyone before her.
"I'm really glad you decided to stay, you...uh" she pauses.
