Get out of the apartment (IE/SWM)

You put some clean clothes on, pour yourself a bowl of stale cereal and quickly finish it before leaving the tiny apartment, walking down the many stairs and out through the main entrance. The narrow streets outside are pretty much crowded with people either hurrying to work or just walking about. The sky is grey with clouds that completely block the sun, and your pants do little to hide your boner, no matter how you walk.

You need a job. At first, your parents were the only ones who nagged you about that, but now it's a fact. You can't live with them anymore, and need to get back on your feet before moving on.

A homeless old man sleeping next to an alley had a newspaper covering his legs. You grab it and put a few cents in his cup for karma. Then you quickly flick through it to the job listings in the far back. Excluding the ones that require significant education, a car or money, you're left with only a handful of options, but eventually decide to choose:

• The job as aChinese Food delivery man up in Chinatown. The pay is low, but the hours are agreeable and it's only half an hour's travel from your house if you use the subway.

• The job as a Taxi Driver at a depot just a block away from your house. You'd have to work long, long days (maybe even nights), but the money is decent and you've got a drivers license already.
