Yeah, talking will only delay what everyone has come for. So you rush out the village gates to find Emera and the rest patiently waiting for you.
"Is everything okay?" she asks.
"Of course. The village has gathered to meet you, Emera. So, Grandpa, if you could wait here a little while longer. After I introduce her to everyone, Mom will come and talk to you."
Granddad doesn't look too pleased, but you don't know if it's because he has to wait longer, or because you called him Grandpa. It doesn't bother you, though, and you take Emera's hand and take her to the center of the village. The sight of so many orcs makes her clench her hand tightly, and she's obviously nervous.
There's quite a lot of oohs and aahs among the crowd. "She dark elf!" one orc shouts. "She make strong babies."
You look over to your family, and they are equally stunned. "Everyone." you say, "This is my mate. She hasn't learned our culture yet, so please be nice to her, respect her space and decision to wear clothes. If she says no to something, no matter what it is, please honor her wishes."
"Have you fucked her yet?" your oldest brother shouts.
Both you and Emera blush, and she hides herself behind you. "Um... y-yes, we have had sex."
"Why don't you show us then?" he continues.
"What?!" Emera shouts.
You turn to face her and say, "Sometimes, a newly mated couple will be asked to have sex in front of the whole village."
"Y-you can't be serious."
