Follow Angela and Kerri into the church

You know it's a bad idea, but you make the decision to follow the two girls into the church. Unsurprisingly, you start to feel weaker. The sooner you can get out of this place the better.
Angela continues to lead the way. She brings you and Kerri through the hallway and into the basement. Going down the steps, you note that it's difficult to see things. Only a dim light hangs from the ceiling.
"This is where you'll find him," Angela explains to you. "Come on out!" she shouts into the darkness. "I know you're here!"
There's no response. You look around the basement to see if there's even anyone- or anything- down here.
"Come on!" Angela repeats. "Show yourself already!"
Nothing. Complete silence.
It's at that moment you notice Angela losing her composure. Her eyes are looking at every corner of the basement, searching for the man she's calling out to, and she's struggling to hold back tears.
"MICHAEL!" she screams. "MICHAEL! WHERE ARE YOU!?"
The girl collapses to her knees.
"Michael..." she says again, gasping for breath.
