You tell Chimaera that it will be safer to go through the window, she reluctantly agrees and gives you a boost up to the window and you clamber through. Chimaera jumps up to the window sill and climbs through. She hears a noise and starts running, you follow, already falling behind. The terrain beneath your feet is rocky and uneven, how can Chimaera run so fast!? A gunshot blasts through the night. Chimaera falls to the ground and yells in pain. You make to run to her but Chimaera yells. "Run, Tess it's a trap, get out of here, I'll be fine!" Chimaera's gotten out of tighter situations than this, you don't really have a choice, you change direction and run, you run for ages. By time you stop running the sun is shioning. You return home just in time to see the 2-o-clock news. You wish you'd arrived later when you see the headline " Today the body of a local teenager Chimaera Mythe was found dead from a gunshot wound in her back".
